New winter storm cancels local NY, NJ flights

Santo Domingo.- Yet another severe Winter storm strafing several U.S. cities Wednesday have forced cancelations of outbound flights from Dominican territory.

Airports management contractor Aerodom said six flights to New York and Newark, N.J. were suspended on the severe weather.

Among the flights cancelled figure JetBlue 209, 509 and 510 out of Las Americas Airport, and Delta 493, also to New York. Also United Airlines flights 1470 and 1473 from Newark.

Aerodom recommends that passengers contact their airline or check flight status online.
