Isolated power companies form Association
Santo Domingo.- The power companies isolated from Dominican Republic’s electricity grid have created the Dominican Isolated Electrical Systems Association (ADOSEA), to represent their sector and promote programs, projects and national and international activities which contribute to the national energy sector’s growth and efficient development.
In a statement, ADOSEA said it will to also promote competitiveness to secure sustained growth for its members and the strict enforcement of General Electricity Law No. 125-01.
Chaired by Jesús Bolinaga, ADOSEA is formed by the power companies of Punta Cana (CEPM); Luz y Fuerza, of Las Terrenas; El Progreso of El Limon; Puerto Plata de Electricidad; Cap Cana Caribbean; Costasur Dominicana, :La Romana; Tourist Services Corporation Punta Cana and Electricidad de Bayahíbe.
