Hotel owners of Sosua Cabarete ask for four-lane highway
Tomás Callender, the President of the Association of Hotel and Restaurant owners in Sosúa and Cabarete called President Medina. He wants the four-lane highway, which is currently prepared to be constructed between Santiago and Puerto Plata, to be extended to Sosúa and Cabarete. Because the dual carriageway will make the beaches of Sosúa and Cabarete more accessible for tourists. In particular, the road through Cabarete is currently a bottleneck for traffic.
