Fire partially destroys landmark restaurant in Sosua

PUERTO PLATA A fire, origin of which has not yet been established partially destroyed the physical structure of ex La Roca Restaurant, in the tourist town of Sosua, last night (Sunday, November 1, 2014).
The incident left the building on Pedro Clisante street, which was out of operation for more than two years, partially destroyed. The fire brigade of Sosua arrived at the place, and put the fire down with the help of volunteers.
The building was part of the architectural history of the municipality and operated there in the 40′s Sosua as a supermarket founded by Jewish immigrants.
So far they could not specify the cause of the fire, authorities began their investigation.
