Extension of deadline for ‘Revista’ for vehicles

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has extended the deadline until January 31 for the renewal of the technical inspection sticker ‘Revista’ (Technical check) for motorized vehicles.
The various test centers across the country couldn’t handle the influx of vehicles just before the closing date of December 31, 2013. Besides that the vehicle must be in good condition, there should also be a warning triangle and first aid kit present in the vehicle. In Sosúa where the technical check is done by the traffic police (AMET) locally, no problems arose during inspection and issuance of the ‘Revista’. In Sosúa everything went very smoothly.
