Dominican Republic will participate in important international tourism trade shows

The Dominican Republic will participate in four major international tourism trade fairs in Canada, Russia, France and Brazil.

The country’s Minister of Tourism and an impressive number of tourism-related companies are also scheduled to participate.

CANADA:   “Incentive Works”

Incentive Works will be held August 19-20 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. The event is one of Canada’s most important tourism trade fairs. Participants will include: The Dominican Ministry of Tourism, travel agents, tour operators, hotels, car rental companies and trade journalists.

RUSSIA:     “Leisure 2014”

Scheduled from September 16-19 at the “Crocus Expo” International Exhibition Center, Moscow. It is considered to be among the top five most important international fairs for business tourism. Participants: Dominican Ministry of Tourism, travel agents, tour operators, hotels, car rental companies, and specialized press.

FRANCE:   “Top Resa 2014”

From September 23-26 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, in Paris, France. Participants: Ministry of Tourism, travel agents, tour operators, hotels, car rental companies, and specialized press.

BRAZIL:     “Abav 2014”

From September 24-28, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It is considered to be the largest tourism event in the Western Hemisphere due to its impressive number of exhibitors. Participants: Dominican Ministry of Tourism, travel agents, tour operators, hotels, car rental companies, and specialized press.
