Complaints about the slow process of issuing identity cards in Puerto Plata

Imbert – Dozens of citizens living in the country, continue complaining about the relatively slow process of acquiring the card at the local office of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) is performed.

The driver Rafael Martínez, said that not keeping up with technological advances affecting the world today as when there is no electricity you can not work on changing the electoral identity card and, you can lose a whole day in a seemingly endless queue.

Martinez stated that there is a way to contribute to the process of cedulación of hundreds of citizens who come to the office of the Central Electoral Board of Imbert, he offered to install a planta/generator to at the propert to substitute  lack of energy and continue the work of issuing cedulas, but his offer was ignored.
He described the process as being very frustrating, because people have to wait for long in order to change their cards.  So he asked the responsible authorities to try to expedite the process of issuing identity cards which “is like a serum – very slow honey bees.”
The Central Electoral Board (JCE) should do everything possible to solve the problem in Imbert that happened due to lack of electricity in the area, thus causing citizens to not to be able obtain a new identity card containing biometric data of each individual.

Who accepts responsibility? Oh sorry, silly question.

Does anyone care? Sorry again, another silly question.
