Caribbean Cigar Night Will Be Held in Puerto Plata, the North Coast’s Most Important City
The sixth annual “Caribbean Cigar Night” will be held on Friday, March 21, at the Blue JackTar Beach Club in Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata.
The annual event is organized by the Playa Dorada Hotel Association and its main goal is to bring to the north coast’s most important city the country’s top tobacco producers.
The program is packed with a full program of music, art, delicious food, fine cigars and local and international drinks.
Chef Brady Vasquez, from the Blue JackTar, will be in charge of preparing the 11-Tapa menu.
Price of admission to the annual event is US$105 and US$35 for the second person.

The event is sponsored by “El Catador” (wines and liquors), the Brugal rum company, “Tabacalera Fuente,” Davidoff, La Aurora, General Cigar, Corporacion Cigar Export, Tabacalera de Garcia, Matasa, La Flor Dominicana, Blue JackTar Hotels, Zippo y Bottles.
Anthony Jefferson will provide music entertainment with his well-known jazz and bossa nova rhythms, while painter Juan Ventura will display some of his well-known works.
