Call for protest: D’Latin Bar in Pedro Clisante closed
Recently, the popular bar D’Latino in Pedro Clisante was closed by order of Government. The owner of the bar is Willy Olivences (El Chamo), who is also deputy mayor of Sosúa. According to Willy due to this shut down, dozens of workers, bar attendants, waiters, disc jockeys, porters, cleaners and kitchen staff become jobless.
Entire families depend on the income of these workers. And not only that, supermarkets, fashion shops, hair salons, pharmacies, motorcycle taxis, etc. will have a decline in their income. Whatever the reason is for the closure of the bar, it remains unclear so far. For today, there is a protest meeting announced. Willy calls on everyone to come show the government that the closure of the bar is no solution to any problem whatsoever.
