Banreservas opened its Housing Expo 2014 offering the fixed rate for one year at 7.73%
Santo Domingo.- The State-owned bank Banreservas opened its Housing Expo 2014 on Thursday night , where the fixed rate for one year at 7.73% and two years at 8.73 are the country’s lowest ever for homes valued under RD$3.0 million.
For homes costing over RD$3.0 million, the rates will be 8.73% for one year and 9.73% for two years.
After calling the rates “unprecedented,” Banreservas general manager Enrique Ramírez Paniagua said for lots, businesses and to finance real estate projects the bank offers a fixed rate of 9.73% for one year and 10.73% for two years.
For loans including to remodel houses, to buy furniture and home appliances, the interest rate will be 14.73%.
