During a meeting headed by Feda director Antonio Lopez and leaders of associations and cooperatives, the business group also announced they’ll establish a trade office in the country, to conduct all negotiations for the purchase of the products to be exported to the U.S.
U.S.-Dominican Supermarkets Association president David Corona said those businesses sell large amounts of Dominican products which he affirms are well received by members of the Dominican community.
For his part, Lopez said FEDA will provide all the assistance to Dominican producers to market their products with the owners of the U.S. supermarkets.
