The Dominican Republic to participate in Las Vegas and Montreal Tourism Fairs
The Ministry of Tourism, as well as a host of tourism-oriented businesses, confirmed their participation in the Montreal and Las Vegas fairs, both to be held in October.
The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, and the Majestic Resorts, Vik Hotel Arena Blanca and Cayena Beach, Lifestyle Holidays Vacations Resort and Melia Hotels International will be present at the Salon International Tourisme Voyages.
The fair, to be held in Montreal October 25-27, is attended by industry professionals and representatives from the public sector. Last year some 35,000 visitors attended the fair. There were 159 exhibitions from 25 countries.
In Las Vegas
Representatives from the country’s Ministry of Tourism, as well as representatives from various tourism-oriented companies, will attend the third annual Incentive Travel, Meetings & Events (IMEX America 2013) Fair, scheduled from October 15-17 in La Vegas.
Participants will include: Connect Travel Services, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Palladium Hotel Group, K & M Destination, Otium International, IVI Caribbean Quest DMC, Barceló Bavaro Beach Resort, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo, Holiday Inn Santo Domingo, Amstar DMC, Eden Roc at Cap Cana, Westin Punta Cana Resort & Club, Be Live Hotels, Casa de Campo and ASONAHORES.
The IMEX America 2013 Fair features the largest buyer program in all of North America, with more than 2,400 service representatives in 45 countries. Eighty percent of all buyers are from the United States.
