Swiss national dies after receiving a heart attack in Cabarete
PUERTO PLATA. – A Swiss citizen, 63, died while receiving medical care in the medical center of Cabarete, after suffering heavy strokes in circumstances that remain unexplained.
According to the information from the National Police, the deceased was identified as Patrice François Cretgnier, who had lived for several years in the residential community Lomas Mironas, his life stopped as a result of severe cranial brain trauma and multiple abrasions. Before dying, François Cretgnier was helped by the security officials of the residential community where he lived and allegedly told them he suffered from dizziness and falling face down first into the pavement being pulled by two dogs who always accompanied him on his morning walk. The body of a Swiss citizen was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) in Santiago for expertise, while the Deputy of Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police conducts investigations around the case.
