Ruling party slams traffic cops on official plates chaos

Santo Domingo.- Ruling party senator Tommy Galan on Thursday criticized the Metropolitan Transit Authority (AMET) for its alleged failure to enforce the new law on the designations and usage of official license plates.

The legislator said despite the new law, the disorder with plates continues right in front of AMET’s nose, despite being the agency that enforces it. “I suggest that AMET get up to date with the new law on the designation and use of official, diplomatic, consular and exonerated plates.”
