Price of gasoline falls for a third straight week

Santo Domingo.- For the third straight week the Industry and Commerce Ministry posted lower prices for several fuels, as much as RD$2.40 less per gallon on premium gasoline

For the week from November 16 to 22, premium gasoline will cost RD$245.30, or RD$2.40 less, while regular will cost RD$ 230.70, a decrease of RD$2.30 per gallon.

Premium diesel will cost RD$215.10 and regular goes to RD$208.40, a decrease of RD$1.10 on both; avtur will cost RD$152.40, or RD$1.40 lower; kerosene will cost RD$190.10, or RD$1.50 less and fuel oil will cost RD$140.60, RD$1.21 lower per gallon.

Propane gas remains unchanged at RD$104.50 per gallon, the same with natural gas, at RD$30.50 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$42.57 per dollar was used to calculate fuel prices.
