New Connecticut-Punta Cana flights start Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The Connecticut Airport Authority says a new charter service begins Saturday from Bradley International Airport to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, reports.

“Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin Dillon says the weekly flights will operate Saturdays in February and March,” the outlet said, adding that a 150-seat Airbus 320 aircraft will be used for the flights,  which will operate as Frontier Flight 8548 and 8549 to and from the Dominican Republic.

The announcement comes one week after American Airlines announced it will discontinue some direct flights from the U.S.
