Most business leaders hail Medina’s job performance
Santo Domingo.- 64% of the business leaders approve president Danilo Medina’s job performance, while 31% disagree and 5% disapprove, according to the pollster Deloittte’s 2nd Business Barometer.
It said the favorable views grew over the previous poll, in September 2012.
Published by hoy.com.do, Deloitte said the disapproval rating is also up slightly, are well below the majority which supports the president’s job performance.
The government scored well on education issues; good or fair in the country’s reintegration in the world, reducing unemployment, improving infrastructure, investment incentives and economic growth, but low scores on its actions to reduce insecurity and poverty.
The survey was presented by economists José Luis de Ramon, director of Deloitte in the country, and Nassim Alemany, a partner at Deloitte Economics.
