Marbete: License plate renewal start Tuesday; RD$1.5B in revenue expected

Santo Domingo.- The internal Taxes Agency (DGII) announced it will start to renew license plates tomorrow Tuesday, with which it expects around RD$1.5 billion in revenue.

The renewal with stickers will last until December 31 for 1.0 million motor vehicles, surpassing last year by 163,000.

To renew their stickers vehicle model years 2008 or older pay RD$1,200 while 2009 or newer are charged RD$ 2,200.

In a press conference, the DGII said the stickers can be bought at 700 sites, in addition to the Web, but only until December 10.

    The stickers only last until Dec 31st? which year?

    The sticker will last for another year, it is that you have time to purchase it until the end of December this year.
