Lawsuit led to armed clash on busy avenue
Santo Domingo.- National Police chief Manuel Castro on Thursday clarified that the armed confrontation on the busy Los Próceres Av. was a brawl among employees of two former partners, one of which won a court fight over a business.
He affirmed that the national police had nothing to do with the incident and that retired general Juan Fructuoso Heredia took anything from the building, as employees of the business told media.
It was also learned that at least one Canadian is involved in the lawsuit which led to the brawl during which shots were fired, but no injuries reported and at least 19 men arrested.
