International certification for Haina port
Santo Domingo.- The company Haina International Terminals (HIT) has received ISO 9001-2008 certification, the first port in the Dominican Republic to be certified under these international quality standards that pursue excellence. The certification authorized by ICS Ibérica for the Quality Management System is based on compliance with and the quality of HIT’s processes and projects, as well as the efforts made by each of their professional teams.
The executives added that the certification was the result of team efforts and the hard work that they do every day with all the company’s associates, with a total commitment to quality.
ISO 9001:2008 is the current version of international regulations that set out the requirements aimed at managing a quality system, which implies a continuous process of improving procedures, services and customer satisfaction.
