German found dismembered inside a plastic tank in Sosua
PUERTO PLATA. – Due to the stinking odor coming out of a three story building located on Calle Alejo Martinez, Sosua, there was found a decomposing body of a foreigner, aged 60, in a plastic tank. The discovery was made in the late Sunday afternoon (Aug, 18th), so officials identified the victim as Rolf Erich Kobesch Manfred, German national, whose body was examined by the acting coroner, Dr. Mario Lopez Peralta, who diagnosed that the death was caused by multiple blows with violence, but because of the advanced state of decomposition other signs could not be determined.
The rotting corpse of the German Manfred Kobesch was found inside a blue plastic tank 55 gallon sealed with a lid and a black plastic bag, with his head down and feet up vertically and one half feet jean the other foot a black shoe on a sheet corcha type, while it is presumed that this crime could be committed by an unknown Haitian national, as stated by Alberto Juan Hidalgo Lagares, who confessed that he was a friend of the deceased.
At the scene, the manager of the Processing Unit Crime Scene was presented and he took several photographs of the body of the deceased and the residence where he was found, while the Inspector of Sosua magistrates court, lawyer Jose Armando Tejada, ordered the National Forensic Science Institute (INACIF) in Santiago to perform a necropsy.
