Civil Aviation says 20 airlines seek permits
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC) revealed Monday that air carriers seek operations permits, which in its view confirms the aviation system’s high level of reliability and safety.
It said IDAC’s Flight Norms Dept. has around of 20 new certification requests from aircraft operators for the various phases of air transport services.
“The airlines seek authorization to operate in the Dominican Republic and others established that want to expand their radius of action and function,” which it affirms signals confidence in the country.
As part of its aeronautics modernization process, IDAC announced an upgraded Website, www.idac.gob.do, “which explains in detail the requirements and steps that must be met for the issuance of permits and certificates to interested companies.”
