Central Bank manager Ervin Novas said they are collaborating with the Justice Ministry’s investigation of money changers in Santo Domingo East, in which there’s been one arrest thus far.
In a press conference, the official said the RD$2,000 bills circulating in the country are stamped with 2013 are the “rejects” of the French company. He said 162 bills have bee confiscated thus far, but noted that the authorities don’t know how many remain.
