Santo Domingo.- The American Chamber of Commerce on Monday announced its Social Business Responsibility award for cement maker Cemex Dominicana, for its program “Patrimonio Hoy,” which helps people build or improve their homes by promoting a culture of saving.
It’s Cemex’s second major recognition in less than 30 days, after it won a prize from newspaper Hoy’s ES Magazine for its efforts to preserve and protect the country’s fresh water sources on September 9.
