Cemex contributes with infrastructure, builds10,000 housing units
Santo Domingo.- The Mexico based cement maker Cemex on Wednesday announced that it has collaborated in the development of infrastructure projects as well as in the construction of around 10,000 housing units.
Carlos Gonzalez, president of Cemex Dominican Republic operations, made the announcement during his participation in the XLVIII American and Caribbean Conference on Housing, being held in Santiago, Chile.
The executive who heads Cemex’s Infrastructure and Housing Initiative showcased the company’s proposition for the region’s countries, citing examples of the solutions available to the market, with advantages in cost, energy efficiency, durability and sustainability.
“Cemex has collaborated in the construction of more than 10,000 units with integral solutions and created infrastructure which contribute to the region’s development and raised the quality of living of its citizens,” González said.
