“Casa de Campo” receives “Cristal America” award
The “Casa de Campo” resort, located in the eastern city of La Romana and considered one of the finest tourism resorts in the Caribbean, was recently awarded the “CSF Award 2012″ for “Best Hotel in the Southeast Region”, awarded by the Dominican-British company “Cristal America.”
The resort was issued the award for its commitment to the highest standards of quality in its operations, and offering guests a healthy and safe environment.
Other recipients of the “CSF Award 2012:” the Barceló Bávaro Beach, an all-inclusive, 584-room resort for adults only, and the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana, also an all-inclusive 597-room five star facility.
The “Cristal America” is a member of the Check Safety FirstLimited group, a leading consulting and quality supervision firm specializing in the handling of foods with offices in Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal and the Dominican Republic.
“Casa de Campo” is an exclusive resort, situated two hours east of Santo Domingo, featuring some 1,500 luxury villas and private residences.
The resort has four golf courses, three of them of international fame, a cruise port, a marina which can accommodate up to 350 vessels up to 250 feet long, and featuring many sports facilities and services.
It is a favorite destination for international movie stars, musicians, politicians and entrepreneurs. The resort is situated some 10 minutes from La Romana’s international airport.
