State-owned bank’s 8.71% car loans at fair the lowest ever
Santo Domingo.- The State-owned Reservas bank launched its annual Expomovil auto fair Thursday night , where car buyers gen get loans at an 8.71% interest rat – the lowest ever fur such an event- and in with131 dealers taking part.
Buyers can finance up to 90% of the vehicle’s cost with five years to pay, as well as the insurance policy through Reservas, among other benefits.
Dealers nationwide will function as fairgrounds throughout the weekend, with bank executives on site who’ll approve the financing on the spot.
Reservas CEO Vicente Bengoa said the fact that various authorized dealers are taking part in the fair shows confidence in the bank’s growth and economic strength.
He cited as an example the bank’s before-tax earnings of RD$1.7 billion for the third quarter.
