Positive changes in Sosua
Bailey’s have recently renovated their restaurant adding a larger kitchen as well as a new airconditioned indoor dining area. They also created a nice parking area for motorbikes, and have lifted the looks of the establishment containing all the offices.
Next to the German car wash, the new butchery and restaurant “Good Old Germany” has opened with a stylish look.
“El Cultivo” has changed hands and are currently remodeling the place, adding a carwash and a new night club.
Opposite El Cultivo on the small street off Pedro Clisante, the new “Attitude bar” will be opening any day now when they’ve got the last renovations done.
La Roca (At the corner of the road that goes down to beach carpark) has just re-opened with new menu and friendly staff.
El Colibri has built a fancy new restaurant and bar facing the street, and is finishing rooms for private meetings and relaxation.
By the the Playa Chiquita Casino, you will notice two large complexes under restauration, most likely to be opened in August/September 2012.
The new restaurant “Fresh Fresh” opened in “Plaza International” offering delicious wraps and smoothies.
Next to “Sosua by the Sea” the brand new “The Beach Club” is heading towards completion, offering amazing ocean view and access. Hispaniola Beach is also selling off condo’s in their amazing new gated beach community.
What used to be “City Market” is now in Russian hands and called “Supermercardo Favorito” very convenient so far at least for the basic’s. Lot’s of positive changes for Sosua!
