Fuels to cost more next week, except natural gas
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday announced higher prices for most fuels for the week from January 7 to 12 ,when premium gasoline will cost RD$219.80, an RD$2.50 increase per gallon, whereas regular costs RD$204.00 for an increase of RD$2.40 per gallon.
Regular diesel will cost RD$191.00, an increase of RD$2.10; premium will cost RD$197.60 an increase of RD$2.10; avtur will cost RD$153.84, an RD$2.39 increase; kerosene will cost RD$179.30, or RD$2.60 higher; fuel oil will cost RD$135.17, an RD$1.69 increase, and propane gas costs RD$107.60, an increase of RD$1.00 per gallon.
Natural gas remains unchanged at RD$25.00 per cubic meter.
Dominican Republic Central Bank exchange rate of RD$38.89 per dollar was used to calculate the fuel prices.
