Dreams Palm Beach hotel receives award for food management and handling

SANTO DOMINGO — The Dreams Palm Beach was selected for the second year in a row as the “Best Regional Hotel” in the country’s eastern region.

It was also chosen as the Best National Hotel and the third, worldwide, for its food security policies. The awards were issued by Check Safety First (CSF).

The Crystal Americas award is issued depending on the number of points accumulated by the facility during surprise inspections, which are routinely carried out among the 1800 facilities monitored by CSF in some 18 countries in three continents.
Crystal Americas has become a benchmark for quality products, since its monitoring standards and protocols, following guidelines established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), as well as by the requirements established by the International Federation of Tour Operators.

The 540-room hotel is an all-inclusive four-star resort, managed by AMResorts. The complex consists of nine three-floor buildings. All rooms accommodate three or two adults, as well as two children.
