Santo Domingo.- Following his swearing-in as president this morning, Danilo Medina announced the names of the members of his new government team, appointed by means of decree 414-12.

By means of decree 456-12, president Danilo Medina confirmed Major General José Armando Polanco Gómez as chief of the National Police and General Victor Campusano as his deputy.

The officials were immediately sworn in at a ceremony in the Ambassadors’ Hall in the National Palace.
