Airports contractor says 4 new air routes set aviation milestone
Santo Domingo.- The airports management contractor Aerodom announced Friday the opening of four new air routes starting next Monday, and affirmed that the number sets a precedent in commercial aviation history.
Route Development manager Riad Simon said the company expects to mobilize 366,000 travelers from December 1 to 3l through the six airports it manages.
The Aerodom executive said the new routes starting December l0 are Aruba-Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo-Turks & Caicos, Dominican Republic-Prague and Santo Domingo-Brazil.
Simon says the emergence of the four new routes in just one month is a milestone for the country’s commercial aviation.
“With the opening of these new routes through the airports we manage in Aerodom, not only contribute to the further development of commercial aviation and tourism, but also appear during a high demand for seats for being Christmas.”
