Art exhibition at Hotel El Colibri
Saturday October 29 at 6 PM, the art exhibition ‘Exhibicion Mezcla’ was opened in Hotel El Colibri in Sosúa, exhibiting paintings, sculptures and carvings by the artist and organizer Julio Desmond. Artists from Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Russia and Canada contribute to the exhibition. The artists are Desmond Julio, Juan Garcia, Sergey Kulikov and Samantha Chilvers. Each artist was allowed to exhibit his or her work to the public and explain the visitors about the ideas of the artworks. Then the impressed guests were guided along the art works by the artists. On stage in the restaurant the band Alan Dean and Fred Cuba Libre played 70′s music. The restaurant had a buffet prepared for the occasion and the guests eagerly enjoyed it. Soon an auction follows where a number of artworks will be sold.
